Coca Cola recently announced that they have been in talks with the Canadian cannabis producer Aurora Cannabis to develop drinks containing CBD. The move comes after Corona beer brewer Constellation Brands Inc. announced a $3.8 million investment in Canopy Growth Corp, another Canadian cannabis producer.
“We are closely watching the growth of non-psychoactive CBD as an ingredient in functional wellness beverages around the world, The space is evolving quickly.”
Diageo PLC is apparently in talks with a number of cannabis producers also.
